Comments:

Head coach of Belarus Yuriy Khamko:
- I congratulate team of Uzbekistan with this strong-willed victory. Paying attention to our previous match with Russia, when we played mostly in defence, today we had to win. I put 2 forwards and they went ahead, but there was nobody to support them. We made a fast goal and fell back! In spite of territory and technical advantage of our opponents my men continued to play and scored again, but again fell back. There were many mistakes in our game. That, who made less mistakes won.

Head coach of Uzbekistan Marat Kabaev:
- It was difficult to define the start line-up for this game. I decided to keep the same players as in previous match with Belgium, made only one change in center of the field. We had a serious training yesterday and today my players supported me showed their fighting spirit. Of course, there were some doubts before the game if the plans wouldnt come true, but everything comes true.
